Where are we now

Well we made through the Bele Chere performance without a hitch. I only wish that our video guy had shown up to get it. He tells me that he had to go see about his uncle but it seems a little shady to me. Never the less there is nothing I can do about it now other than not depend on him to do anything else for us.

We were supposed to open for the headliner (Calvin Richardson) for the night of our performance but due to the fact that there was a little hateraid involved in the selection process that did not happen. The general consensus in that had we opened for him (Calvin) we probably would have given him a run for his money. That being said, I spoke with his road manager and left a card and CD in his possession to peruse and think on letting us open for him on some of his upcoming dates.

My next goal is to finish the radio edit for "Good Times" and get the CD's pressed by the beginning of next week, so that the promoter can get to work on building a radio and retail buzz that should/will generate dollars. Look out for the single and call any radio station around you to request "Good Times" from THE MOVEMENT CD.

Well I must go now and mail off some more info.
